Osama Bin Laden

The evil mastermind behind 911 and the killings of   nearly 3,000 people has been shot twice in the head. He escaped to Pakistan but his men still stayed in Afghanistan receiving orders from him to kill millions of people. Bin Laden was top of Americas most wanted list. Bin in Laden was the subject of a decade-long manhunt through Afghanistan and areas of Pakistan.

last August, U.S. intelligence officials got information suggesting bin Laden was living in a less mysterious area, namely a compound in Abottabad.Bin Laden followed a very strict fundamentalist strain of Sunni Islam that believes a core responsibility of every Muslim is to take up arms against enemies of Islam.FBI spokesman Paul Bresson said, "While there are no specific, bin Laden-related threats at this time, every logical and prudent step is being taken to mitigate any developing threats." According to officials who declined to be identified by name, bin Laden was shot in the head during a firefight, and his body was identified to near 100 percent certainty through DNA testing. As quickly as bin Laden's supporters vowed to avenge his death, administration officials worked to undermine his reputation.

Bin Laden's death came 15 years after he declared war on the United States. Al-Qaida was also blamed for the 1998 bombings of two U.S. embassies in Africa that killed 224 people and the 2000 attack on the USS Cole that killed 17 American sailors in Yemen, as well as countless other plots, some successful and some foiled.
It took four long years to learn the man's real name, then years more before investigators got a big break in the case, these officials said.There were questions, as well, about Pakistan's role in bin Laden's years in hiding

 

Aranda's Dance Class !

xxx,Was practicing a dance routine that dance teacher Terri Aranda  had taught them. They Were doing a good job by working hard on the dance and listening to what she was directing them.

xxx, Was laughing and trying to get the dance together,while another student was entertaining her in the dance class. Her and the other girl were joking around while the teacher wasn't looking .

These four young lady's were enjoying the dance and practicing on it while dance teacher Terri Aranda was talking to some of her other students about the dance steps.They kept doing the dance over and over until they got it.

Terri Aranda was going over the dance steps for her dance class just in case they forgot the moves. The Girls Were  enjoying there selves and having fun learning a new dance.

Swim Team :)



xxx, Stands beside the diving board listening to what her coach was telling her to do before she started to get on the diving board and take off.



The members of the boys swim get set to take off and race to the other end of the pool . They were trying to beat their old time that they had before to make a better time.

Members of the girls swim team dived off  the diving board as the whistled blows . These girls were working hard and swimming well to get to the other end of the pool to make a new record.

As soon as xxx comes up from the water she was tired and trying to breath. She worked really hard to get to the other end of the pool in a good amount of time.

The boys were racing to the other end of the pool to see who time was better. Their coach was trying to get them to do their best and swim their way up to the top.

F.W.A ( Future Women of America)



This poster is what the girls have been working on for a while now.The Future Women of America club is trying to get other girls to join their club so they can get a better understanding of things and meet new friends.



One of the girls  from the club drew a picture of the girls trying to give other girls thoughts about joining  the F.W.A club.

Takara Teen leadership class 1st hour

During 1st hour, Chris Sparks, '12, draws a t-chart on a big piece of white paper about rules they need to go over in Teen leadership  Takara badrock class.

 Teen leadership Takara Badrock explains to her students what they really need to be putting on the paper and how it should look, while Tara White, '14, was laughing at another student , Chris Sparks and Maranda Trevino were paying attention .

 In 1st period , Tara White, '14 , and Chris Sparks, '12 , discuss the rules they think that needs to be put on the t-chart for Mrs.Badrock teen leadership class.

 In 1st hour Takara Badrock Teen leadership class, xxx starts yelling at another student about the assignment and in the back xxx is thinking about what she should write on the t-chart.

These posters are called social contracts.The things that are on the posters are what supposed to go on in a class room.
